I enjoy Novello's original book of prank letters under the name of Lazlo Toth (The Lazlo Letters), as much as his work as a writer and performer on the original Saturday Night Live. Novello inspired me, for a short time in the early '90s, to follow a similar path: penning dubious correspondences to politicians and companies.
